Disclosing Your Financial Information

California law requires that each spouse in a divorce fully disclose all financial information including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. You will likely need to produce copies of the following: bank statements, stock account statements, income tax returns, paycheck stubs, statements of savings and investments, employee benefit statements, titles, insurance policies, credit card statements and other financial documents.

California law contains provisions that penalize a party for not fully disclosing financial information.
