In the United States today, about 50 percent of marriages end in divorce, leaving many emotionally stressed and uncertain about their past and future. This stress has many soon-to-be divorcees turning to divorce trainers for an outside source of support and guidance.
Divorce trainers offer security for those who have encountered drastic changes and are having trouble dealing with the highly charged emotions that are often linked to divorce.
Not all divorce trainers are certified therapists, but they are usually specialized coaches who are trained to offer support and guidance to their clients. Divorce trainers are educated to teach their patients how to begin a new chapter in their life with a positive attitude.
Divorce coach Barbara Kahn Stark explains that when dealing with the emotional effects of divorce, a divorce trainer can be extremely beneficial in how a person views his/her future without the ex-spouse.
“The judicial system’s not set up to deal with that and neither are the lawyers,” says Stark.
